- Concentrates all recordings from all classrooms to a single server and classifies them enabling the students to easily find the lectures by teacher/course/Lecture Title.
- Provides random-access features to all recordings to enable students to directly start playing by points of interest thereby saving the time searching for the point of interest by slides automatically created from the video, by thumbnails of slides presented during the lecture, by titles of the slides, by words automatically extracted from the slides by OCR and keywords automatically extracted from the captions.
- Many IFP-based classrooms are also equipped with traditional writing surfaces for the teacher to use if the teacher chooses to. If we rely only on the recording capability of the IFP, the part of the instruction done on the other surface would not be recorded. EDUSPOT ensures that EVERYTHING is recorded and available for viewing by students.
- IFP-based recording captures just the head movement of the teacher and tethers the teacher to be in the vicinity of the IFP to be visible to the built-in camera of the IFP. EDUSPOT captures the entire body language of the teacher and enables the teacher to be fully mobile in the front of the writing surfaces.
